Upcoming Grades 6-8: 4:00 pm
Upcoming Grades 9-12: 5:30 pm
- Travel information from each middle school to the high school will be provided at a later date.
All interested players should have the following at tryouts:
- Updated physical information
- Must have your own equipment (glove, helmet, bat, cleats AND tennis shoes)

Free athletic physicals will be given at Georgia Sports Medicine, Southwell Orthopedics at 2227 Hwy 41 N. on Saturday, April 22nd, from 8:30am-12:30pm.
This will be for students currently in grade 5-11 that are interested in playing middle school or high sports next year.
The schedule will be:
8:30am-9:45am Football, Softball, Cross Country, Volleyball, Esports
9:45am-11:00am Cheer, Basketball, Wrestling, Swim, Gymnastics, Bass Fishing, Tiftarea
11:00am-12:30pm Baseball, Tennis, Golf, Track, Soccer, Riflery
The forms will be shared out as soon as they are available. Parent signatures and personal information will need to be filled out before you can get your physical.

Parents, just a gentle reminder about Read Across America Week Dress Up Days & Book Fair Information as they are both next week: February 27th - March 3rd! Come visit with your GOB student to read to a class (contact your teacher to volunteer)! Come visit and see the amazing selection the Book Fair has to offer on Parent Nights, Tuesday and Thursday 4:30 - 6:30 PM! We can't wait to see you in our building!
Do you know a child that will turn 4 on or before September 1st? PreK Registration for the 2023-2024 school year is now open. DON'T DELAY, make sure their registration is complete. Open spots will be made available to out of county residents beginning March 1st. #4theT

Out of an abundance of caution, G O Bailey Elementary was placed on a soft lockdown this afternoon due to a potential situation in the neighborhood around the school. System security personnel worked with local law enforcement to determine that there was no threat to the safety and security of the students or staff and the school has resumed normal operations.

Teachers! Parents! Friends! Sweets & Songs Tickets are on sale beginning Friday, January 6!!! G.O. Bailey 3rd and 4th grade students will be performing on Friday, January 20th at 6:30 p.m. at the TCHS Performing Arts Center. This is a Fundraiser and we would LOVE for EVERYONE to FILL the STAGE!!! The 3rd and 4th Grade students that are performing do NOT have to purchase tickets, BUT parents, students that are not performing, friends, and family members will need tickets in order to watch the G. O. Bailey 3rd and 4th graders perform. Students WILL need a ticket IF they are going to sit with their parents to watch the Friday 6:30 performance or one of the other performances. Desserts will be provided for ticket holders as part of their ticket purchase on the night of the performance. The order form will be sent home soon with 3rd and 4th graders and will also be posted on Facebook and below. You can send this order form in with your cash or check made out to G. O. Bailey.
