The middle school boys and girls tennis teams both won last night against Fitzgerald. They are playing at home tonight against Colquitt and at home on Thursday against Valdosta. Boys are still undefeated with a 6-0 record, and girls are 3-3.
🎾 TCHS Tennis was on the road yesterday at Bleckley County. The girls were narrowly edged in a close 2–3 match, while the boys secured a 3–2 win.

The Lady Devils battled hard but fell 46–63, finishing 4th in the region. They will advance to the GHSA State Tournament and travel to Buford on Tuesday at 6:00 PM for the first round.
👏 The Blue Devils boys team secured a thrilling 51–49 victory to finish 3rd in the region! They will hit the road for the first round of state on Wednesday at 7:00 PM at Central Gwinnett.
Let’s support both teams as they mover into the state tournament!

Our middle school tennis team did a great job in Valdosta on Thursday. Our boys' team beat Lowndes Middle and Hahira Middle. The boys' team is undefeated this season with a 5-0 record. Kai Folds, our #1 singles player, is undefeated, as is Jett Arant, our #3 singles player. Both of our boys' doubles teams are undefeated as well. Our #1 doubles team members are Charlie Fletcher and Raghav Barman, and for our #2 Boys doubles team members are Will Fresh and JR Wise. Our girls' team has a record of 2-3. Caroline Tucker, who is our #1 girls' singles player, stands undefeated at 5-0.

TCHS WRESTLING SHINES AT STATE!
Tift County Wrestling wrapped up an incredible weekend at the Georgia State Wrestling Tournament in Morrow, GA, finishing with 4 State Placers and a Top 10 team finish in 6A!
🏅 State Placers:
• Javon Bateman (165 lb – 6A) – 4th Place
➡️ Now a 3-time State Placer in his TCHS career!
• Kellan Lukas (126 lb – 6A) – 4th Place
➡️ Set a NEW freshman record with 56 varsity wins, breaking the previous record of 51 held by Tift County alum Seth Spillers!
• Kaloeb Ritter (120 lb – 6A) – 6th Place
• Ri Clements (135 lb – Girls Division) – 6th Place
➡️ The first freshman girl in Tift County Wrestling history to place at State!
As a team, the Blue Devils placed 10th overall in 6A at Individual State — a tremendous accomplishment at the highest level of competition.
A special shoutout to our senior leaders — Jaxson Hughes, Austin King, Avery Rutland, Dustin Alexander, and Javon Bateman — whose leadership played a major role in the program’s success this season.
