The Tift County Boys Basketball team secured a big 65–56 win over Camden County tonight, extending an incredible 33-year streak of state playoff appearances — a tradition that began back in 1993!
This hard-fought victory shows the grit, determination, and pride of Blue Devil basketball, and we couldn’t be more proud of these student-athletes and coaches.

In the finals, the Girls 200 Yard Medley Relay team of Abby Lupo, Chloe Brown, Jovia Burke, and Mary Frances Dove finished 7th with a time of 1:51.36, setting a new school record. Abby Lupo placed 8th in the 100 Fly (58.34) after breaking the school record in prelims with a 58.23, and she also finished 10th in the 100 Back (1:00.97). Mary Frances Dove finished 13th in the 50 Free (24.85) and 15th in the 100 Free (55.60), while Jovia Burke placed 17th in the 50 Free (25.17). The 400 Free Relay team of Lupo, Dove, Lauren Maag, and Burke wrapped up the meet with a strong 10th place finish (3:48.58).
We are incredibly proud of how these athletes represented Blue Devil swimming on the state level! 🏊♀️
