Blue Devil Bass Team Members Qualify for National Tournament:
Today, Logan Cargle and Cole McDaniel made history for the Blue Devil Bass Team. They competed in the Bassmaster Open at the Harris Chain of Lakes in Florida and tied for 9th place with a 15 lb weigh-in, guaranteeing their spot at the National High Achool Bassmaster Tournament in July. This event was not on the schedule for the Blue Devil Bass Team and was not sanctioned by the district. Logan and Cole chose to compete in this event on their own. We are proud of their performance today against 199 other teams from throughout the United States. They are the first team in the history of our program to secure their spot at the national tournament.
